After months of inactivity, the [Palestinian] youth protest movement is back in action, albeit in a new guise, writes Palestinian commentator Hani al-Masri in the leading Palestinian daily al-Ayyam.
BREAKING THE SILENCE: When it resumed in earnest last month, the movement agitated against attempts that were taking place to normalize ties with Israel. In particular, the movement came out in protest against a series of New Year parties in which Israeli artists who had sang for the occupation army were due to appear.
